Taking all of that. The Luke 24:12 floor is softer than I was treating it, the John positions run the other way from what I wanted, and the posture reading is better than the scene reading I was holding.

Following your own list one step further though. Abimelech stoops at the window in Genesis 26:8 and then acts on what he sees. The fool in Sirach 21:23 stoops at the door, and the educated man is the one left standing outside, so somebody is always either going in or being kept out. James 1:25 has the man who stoops into the perfect law and remains, and the whole force of it is that he stops looking and starts doing. In John the ones who stoop all end up inside or spoken to.

1 Peter 1:12 is the only one where nobody crosses. The angels take the posture and keep it. That is your permanence point, except it turns out to be unique across the occurrences rather than just true of them.

The Job 38:7 pairing is going straight into my notes. Hebrew sons of God at the foundations, Greek all my angels, same gallery.
