Now we come to the end. And everything we’ve explored has been building toward this.
The divine council. The corrupt governors. The fallen Watchers. The imprisoned rebels. The disembodied demons. The nations in darkness under spiritual powers that abandoned their charge. All of it was building toward one moment. The Son of God entering the world He made, taking on flesh, and doing what no angel, no principality, no spiritual power could ever do.
This is the resolution. This is where the story has been going all along.
Would say the Bible calls the new creature "ONE NEW MAN". (καινός ἄνθρωπος...kainos anthropos) which is a new "kind" (like Gen.1) of mankind i believe. In 1 Cor.15 Paul lays out that there is a terrestrial (earthly) body, and there is a celestial (heavenly) body. Jesus is a MAN and He is God in the flesh!
This is my understanding so far...
Recalling Paul says he is the MASTER BUILDER of something. By the time one gets to Ephesians
we see him speaking about "the whole household of God". We see in 1 Cor.15:20-28 and Eph.1:10
that God is building " THE ALL THINGS" ...IN CHRIST. In the dispensation of the fulness of times (seasons) ...the all things will be headed up under Christ! 💖. These all are in the whole household of God.
Amos 9:6 It is he THAT BUILDETH HIS STORIES in the heaven, AND hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.
So i believe there are different places in this inheritance. Both earthly and heavenly!
This is the Kingdom of His dear Son...which it looks like, when this is accomplished ...
1 Cor.15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 AND WHEN ALL THINGS SHALL BE SUBDUED UNTO HIM(CHRIST!) , THEN SHALL THE SON ALSO HIMSELF BE SUBJECT UNTO HIM THAT PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIM, THAT GOD MAY BE ALL IN ALL.
Thus the BUILDING of the Kingdom of God. God is still building!!
I believe even Paul's epistles need to be rightly divided to find OUR place of inheritance. (Eph./Col.)
Eph./Col. builds in the "heavenly places".. Eph.1:6, 1:20, 2:6, 3:10. It is these 2 epistles we find the
" far above heavenly places ... ἐπουράνιος" ... In the dative case in the greek which speaks to sphere , location. Very interesting word study!
